Arm yourselves to suffer

In 1 Peter 4:1-5, we’re challenged to embrace the cost of following Jesus by adopting His mindset, turning away from sin, and living wholeheartedly for the will of God. Following Christ means leaving behind our old ways, resisting the desires that once controlled us, and choosing obedience even when it costs us comfort, relationships, or acceptance. The world may not understand our transformation, and we may face rejection for living differently. But, we have something far greater than anything we leave behind… an intimate relationship with Jesus and the promise of eternity with Him.
