PASTOR NATE MORRIS
Lead Pastor
Pastor Nate Morris lives in the mountains of Colorado with his wife, Jen, and their three children, Caleb, Zoe, and Josiah. A Colorado mountain kid at heart, Nate loves time with his family, good coffee, skiing, mountain biking, camping, and just about anything outdoors.
Having grown up in mountain communities, Nate carries a deep passion for seeing those same communities reached and transformed by the gospel. He serves as the Lead Pastor of Mountain Life Church, with campuses in Edwards, Gypsum, and Glenwood Springs. Nate is passionate about the dual callings of the Great Commission: reaching the lost and discipling believers into a life-giving, life-changing relationship with Jesus. He is the author of Weary World Rejoice, a 25-day devotional for the Advent and Christmas season, and co-hosts the podcast Truth & Love with Pastor Nate & Jen Morris alongside his wife, where they talk honestly about faith, leadership, marriage, and life.

PASTOR PAUL HAMMONTREE
Edwards Campus Pastor
Pastor Paul has been married to his amazing wife, Amy, since 1990. Paul and Amy are grateful to be parents of three grown children. Paul began serving in full time ministry in 1990. Over the years, Paul has served in a wide variety of roles; as a youth pastor, worship pastor, teaching pastor, church planter, lead pastor, assistant pastor, and now as the Campus Pastor at Mountain Life – Edwards Campus. Paul is passionate about following Jesus and enjoys helping to lead others into this same relationship. In their free time, Paul and Amy enjoy many of the outdoor adventures available here in the Rocky Mountains. Paul and Amy consider themselves blessed to be part of the fellowship of Mountain Life and welcome the opportunities God gives them to love and serve others.

PASTOR EVAN JOHNSON
Gypsum Campus Pastor
Pastor Evan grew up in Northern Wisconsin, where he met Jesus at age 13 and began shaping a faith that would guide his life. During his high school summers, he served at Forest Springs Camp and Conference, discovering a deep love for Jesus & the outdoors while joining wilderness trips. At the end of 2009, he headed west to Colorado with a simple plan and a pair of skis. While working on the slopes, he met Suzanne, and the two were married in November of 2012. Evan joined the staff of Mountain Life in September 2013 and has served in a variety of roles over the years. Today, he serves as the Campus Pastor at our Gypsum Campus, where he brings both pastoral care and leadership. When they are not at church, Evan and Suzanne enjoy hiking and biking with their dogs Champ and Sage, exploring National Parks, and finding any excuse to be outside enjoying God’s beautiful creation.

PASTOR RICK WEAVER
Glenwood Springs Campus Pastor
Pastor Rick serves as the Campus Pastor in ML Glenwood Springs. He and his wife, Jackie, were married in 2005 following their graduation from Purdue University. Together, they are the proud parents of three daughters — Cali, Mya, and Addie.Rick has been involved in professional ministry within both church and parachurch settings since 2003. Much of his ministry experience has been rooted in living missionally in inner-city communities, where he has worked closely with families facing poverty. He has a deep passion for evangelism and is committed to reaching those who don’t yet understand the tremendous gift of God’s love for them.Outside of ministry, Rick enjoys the outdoors and fully embraces mountain life through activities such as mountain biking, snowboarding, camping, and fishing. Jackie is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and works with children with autism.
