June 28: Grand Re-Opening
Hey Mountain Life!
If we haven't yet seen you back at church, we are so excited you're thinking about joining us for the grand re-opening of our Vail Valley Campus. We can't wait to see your face again! So, what exactly is Grand Reopening?
While awaiting the state's decision on progressing into the "BLACK Phase" of reopening, Eagle County announced on June 22 an amendment to the BLUE phase of reopening that allows us to no longer require sign-ups for in-person church service. You may now just show up for any service you would like to attend (ML kids programs do still require sign-ups)!
This amendment also allows us to bring back limited hospitality service and outside fellowship opportunities - which brings us to our "Grand Reopening." This Sunday June 28th is a time for praise, a time for worship, a time for fellowship, a time for celebration. For all the details on what you can expect, please watch Pastor Nate's update video above!
In regards to the safety of our congregation and community, here's what you can expect beginning June 28, 2020:
To help reopening continue to be successful, we all have an important part in continuing to be a strong witness for Jesus in our community. If you do plan to attend church in person we ask that you pledge to honor the Five Commitments of Containment:

To help reopening continue to be successful, we all have an important part in continuing to be a strong witness for Jesus in our community. If you do plan to attend church in person we ask that you pledge to honor the Five Commitments of Containment:
We realize that some of you are not ready for in-person worship experiences yet, and that's OK! We understand. Especially if you are in an at-risk group, please consider not attending just yet. We will continue to pour the same level of energy, excellence and love into our online worship experiences as we have for the past couple months. We're not forgetting about you, and we don't want to sacrifice your experience for those who can make it in person. We will still be live streaming our church experiences online at 9:00 am, 10:30 am and 6:30 pm on all of the same platforms every Sunday, and we will still have online hosts and pastors available to chat and pray with you in our chat rooms. We understand that many of you feel safer at home and we fully support your decision. The Lord has worked powerfully during this season to create opportunities to bring people new people to know Jesus and we want to keep that momentum going! We encourage you to continue inviting your friends, coworkers, family and neighbors to join you online for church! This Scripture speaks right to where our hearts are for you all: “But we, brethren, having been taken away from you for a short time in presence, not in heart, endeavored more eagerly to see your face with great desire.” - 1 Thessalonians 2:17 Love in Christ, Your Mountain Life Family |
